My background, prior to my counseling training, has been somewhat, to put it kindly, eclectic: I’m a Navy veteran, have been a newspaper reporter and editor, and a teacher.

Though maybe seemingly unrelated, these varied experiences bring, I hope, a broadened and open-minded understanding and approach to individuals and their conflicts.
